TORONTO TUESDAY MAY 25TH

We were supposed to be playing the legendary "Horseshoe Tavern" yet some complications(aka bullshit) left us with no show. Yes it was a major disappointment to travel all this way to the largest city in Canada & have no gig. We had a "penciled in date" up until 1 week before we left. Then the booking fellow says "send me another cd, so-&-so needs to hear it." We fulfill this request & he avoids my question of,"so are we on?" for the rest of our travels.I phoned him the morning before we left for Toronto(knowing by now we are NOT playing,I'm quick)& he says come on down & I'll meet you at the show.We all go to the bar watch a band..the guy doesn't show.Coward.So what did Jeffery Sez do in Toronto instead of playing? 1st stop City TV home of yes, Much Music. We didn't bother trying to get in the building cause we have no video.(kinda like going to a radio station with nothing to play) Instead we (Christian & I)took one of our cool promo packs into Speaker's Corner paid our(my) $1 & acted like geeks.We ran out of things to say in 1 min(you get 2)so Chris jumped in & did a dance from Rammstein.Next stop after other big store-wish-I-had- money! Open Mike with Mike Bullard. Our new friend Berry in Saskatoon is trying to get us on next season & got us 4 tickets to be in the audience! Cool! 1st time as a part of a live studio audience. I hear you could see Jai & Chris on TV. I've said too much!! I must go, tomorrow we play(really we're playing!)St. Catherine's.Later!
