Just wanted to say thanks to Stone Creek and Nicola Linde for kicking some ass at Steamer's on Friday night. Had a great time. Special thanks to Dayold, our light guy for going above and beyond like he always does.
I posted some stuff in the guestbook about Calgary that I'm gonna paste in below. This should be in the Tour Diary section, but hey...

Holy shit!!!! I don't believe I'm sitting here at my computer.
We just got back from Calgary and I've never seen anything like
it. We woke up at 4am Saturday to get all our stuff packed up
and make it to our flight. Ended up watching the hockey game at
Coyote's. Pure insanity. Thanks Adam for letting us in! Then we
hit "The Red Mile" 17th ave is full of people screaming
and partying in the streets. We lost Chris for about 3 hours.
Lilac Festival was amazing too. Played two sets on the street
under a tent that was threatening to blow away. The forecast called
for thunder storms, but it barely rained. 4th street was blocked
off and there were bands and vendors all up and down the street.
Got the see our friends "My Sister Crystal". Went out
for steak after.
Thanks to Calgary for being such great hosts. Special thanks to
the following (I hope I don't forget anyone) Celyne. Tia, Tom,
Candace. Tiana, James!!!!, Misty, Roxy, Adam, Rob from Alberta's
Own, those two moshing guys, ah man, I'm sure I forgot some key
people...... Too tired. See you all in July WHAAAAAAA HOOOOOOOO.....
go flames.

-Well, The Island Music Awards were last night. We all survived. The show went off pretty well, I thought. We got to play early and spent the rest of the night hanging out and checking out the other bands. Lots of fun. David Gogo and David Lenham hosted again this year. Lots of borderline inappropriate humour that made us laugh our asses off. Congrats to Michael Burke from Cordova Bay Records for winning the Silver Fox Award, label mate David Gogo for his award and Rick "The Rickker "Salt for winning best producer. You all deserve it!! Shout out to the boys from Zappnin Black for rockin' the house and babysitting my bass rig. Oh and to Donnie for helping host the bad boy. You rool.
-Listen in on fridays @ 1 pm pst to The Rock n' Roll Breakfast Show Live on the net at cfuv.uvic.ca
-We've got new shows

Well, a few things...
Rocktoria 2003 is now available. It's got
songs by all of these local bands: Armchair Cynics, Jeffery Sez,
Moneyshot, Carolyn Neapole, Jeremy Walsh and Sue Pyper. You can

Oh yeah, it's free. So that's cool.
For the last few weeks, Jai and Chris have been hosting a radio show up at Uvic. called The Rock n' Roll Breakfast Show. It's on between 1-2 pm pst Fridays on CFUV 101.9 Available in real audio so tune us in. It's all about touring and local bands with a focus on upcoming events in Victoria. If you're in a band and want to be on the show, e-mail us here.
Check out the shows page. There's some stuff coming up and tour plans are coming together to take us far and wide over the next 12 months. We're opening for Montreal's Tricky Woo in April here in Victoria. Should be a blast!

Hey everybody. Sorry for the long spaces between news updates on the site. We're too busy doing stuff that's newsworthy so we don't have enough time to write about it...heh heh... hope y'all had a good New Year's. We took the night off and hung around at Joey's for the Second Annual Hang Around At Joey's New Year's Eve Extravaganza. To be followed by New Year's Day Hangover 2004! Laying around on the couch the next day feeling sorry for yourself is the only way to usher in the new year.
Anyway, below is the X-mas mailer that we sent out to our friends on our mailing list. If you want this stuff showing up in your mailbox, just click here and ask.
Well, it's been a while since a Jeffery Sez mail-out, so I
thought I'd give you an update on some of the stuff we've been
up to.
It's been a really busy year for the band and for all of us individually,
but I'll save the year end recap for my 2nd annual Drunken New
Year's Eve "I Love All Of You Like Family" e-mail.
Here's what we're doing right now:
As a band: We've just released a new single to radio.
Our cover of "Don't You Forget About Me" is out
there and available for request at all the Canadian rock stations
you would expect it to be at. Don't let 'em tell you otherwise.
They have it alright.
We're also writing and demoing new material for our next album.
Maybe you'll hear some new stuff at our x-mas show. Come out and
see.

Personally:
Michael Tension just got accepted to graphic design school.
If you need some tattoos designed or your drum kit painted, you've
got eight months to save up.
The Negative Bastard lost his driver's licence. If you
see a red Camaro drag racing up and down Douglas St. for pink
slips. It's not N.B...... For now.
Joey Hifi is super sick right now. He's recovering from
an evil flu or something. Ugly. The sickness, I mean.
Jai Joans is moving at the end of the month. That's right,
New Year's Eve. If you wanna help, email us and we'll be happy
to put you on the Personal Jai Joans Roadie Crew. There may be
booze involved....
That's it for now. have a great X-mas. Till next time,
The boys from Jeffery Sez
