Sleepless In Saskatoon by Michael Tension

We are being put up by Chris's cousin Dave. Actually we would have spent the night there if we weren't so unreluctant to leave Lloydminster. We arrive burnt and ready to crash. Dave isn't there but we had been told the key would be there for us. It wasn't. Obviously a relative of Chris. More driving and key in hand we are in Shillington Place to rest! Just about in bed and there's a knock at the door. It's the Saska-cops!! Apparently a group of hoodlums (actual term used) have been witnessed lurking about the place. Welcome to Saskatoon! I think that's fucking great! We got the rock look down!
I crash instantly and the rest of the boys hit the town in search
of food and ? I don't know being the singer I have to be lame
and rest my throat for screaming. Sucks being a singer. You spend
too much time worrying about losing your voice. I think I'm starting
to worry less as I haven't lost it yet. Had some seriously sore
throats and weak speech, but always worked on the stage. You knock
on wood you superstitious fuck!! What are you trying to jinx me?
This is the last show and it has been so fun so far it's a shame
it's going to be over. And there is the 24plus hr ride home. That's
where we are now. At this moment I'm being one of those people
typing away on a lab top computer we all hate on the ferry. Why
hate them? 'Cause they got something to do and we don't!! Yeah
suckers! Look at me go! Oh the fun. Really I would like a smoke,
but I don't know how to save this stuff yet. I have to complete
the story first. So if it starts getting rushed, you know why.
And I did spend the last 24hrs in a van.
How was the show? Well it was alot of fun, but it had the potential
to be awesome. Louis is probably got the best sound system of
the tour and the best tech. It is a real classy place. Oh yeah
it's almost empty. 20 or more people. The Salads are pretty bummed.
I assure them it's The Bastards fault. 'Cause it funny to blame
things on him. He's so ready to accept it.
Chris's other cousin Saskatoon Barry films the whole masterful
performance on three different digital cameras so there will be
a video on the web of it soon. We played well and some Saskatoonians
saw it. I think that sums it up for me. Perhaps one of the others
take on things will be more positive!
