JD'S LOUNGE, CHILLIWACK
It's safe to assume that this place usually showcases performers that accompany themselves with pre-recorded music. Why is JeffSez here? We are not sure. Prehaps a change could do the truckers some good. Across the street from this monster of "Best Western-ness" is not one but two cardlock trucker stations. J.D's serves as an excellent place to counteract the buzz drug for a night of rest. Sceptical, yes, but the bar manager, Kevin treated us better than the call of duty. Free meal all around, a round of drinks and two sweet-ass rooms! (sorry about the noise and thanks for being a great guy Kev!) ok, the show.. We played semi-acoustic 'cause the place was too small and too close to the paying guest's rooms to handle a full-volume show. Turns out, the
truckers enjoyed the Sez-rock and fun was had by all. Thanx "Rubble" for all the drinks and crazy talk. We hope you are still alive. We will keep an eye out for you on the six o' clock news. Not sure that we will be playing here again but damn, it was one heck of a great time. People make the show!!
