After the ferry, driving through Van, and my first try at
helping to set up the stage and merch booth, I think I know what
I've gotten myself into. Ha ha ha silly roadie. I
got stuck near the door where the waitress couldn't see me, (sucks)
and I could barely see the stage, (sucks worsebarely) but the
show sounded awesome.
I couldn't find an outlet to plug in the light for the merch booth
and I only sold one shirt, to the girlfriend of the guy who made
the shirts, so my first day is a failure. I was feeling
shitty until the boys got off stage and cheered me up with beer.
I liked the bar but they cut off the live music at like eleven
or twelve and started up with the canned dance crap, what's up
with that. After drinking a bunch and dropping of the Bastard's
friend Crystal, (very nice lady I might add,) we headed to HiFi's
Bio-Mom's place, she was at the show earlier and promised to treat
us good, and boy did she ever. You wouldn't believe the
sandwiches, beer, chips, bottled water and snacks for the road,
oh ya did I mention the sandwiches
